Ijeoma Nwuju, DPM, is a skilled podiatrist at Foot and Ankle Wellness Center in Bethesda, Maryland. With every patient, his goal is to provide expert podiatry care that helps relieve pain and improve quality of life.

Dr. Nwuju graduated from the prestigious New York College of Podiatric Medicine in 2014. He completed his residency in foot and ankle surgery at Howard University Hospital, where he received advanced training in modern surgical procedures. He also spent a year training extensively at both the DC and Baltimore VA Hospitals.

Dr. Nwuju is an active member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and has special interests in pediatric podiatry, sports medicine, reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, trauma care, and wound care. He is licensed to practice podiatric medicine in Maryland and is board qualified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.

Dr. Nwuju is affiliated with several hospitals in the region, including Howard University Hospital, United Medical Center, BridgePoint Hospital, and Southern Maryland Surgical Center.

Originally born in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Nwuju grew up in the Greenbelt, Maryland area and currently resides in Maryland with his family.
